Do you take refrigerators and freezers with the coolant still in them?
Yes. Refrigerators, freezers, and some AC units contain refrigerant that has to be handled under EPA guidelines, and we take care of that for you. Nothing needs to be drained or prepped — just point us to the unit.
Do I need to disconnect the appliance before you arrive?
It helps if it's unplugged and any water lines are shut off, but if you're not sure how, that's fine — our crew can disconnect standard washers, dryers, and refrigerators on site. For gas appliances, we do ask that the gas line be shut off before we haul it.
Will you carry the appliance out, or does it need to be at the curb?
We do the carrying. Garage, kitchen, basement, or a second-floor unit — we bring it out. No dragging it to the curb yourself.
